Andrea Timm

Windham, Maine
Im a Maine native and have a studio on Rt. 1 in Scarborough, Maine where I paint primarily in watercolor and encaustic (melted wax). I have always had an attraction to the arts which has shown up in many forms from jewelry making, cooking, fashion, music, painting/drawing and playing the bass guitar. My greatest inspiration comes from nature but I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects from animals, people, places, or things as well as abstracts. My intention while painting is to bring the beauty that is all around us inside to enjoy visually. Perhaps to bring us joy, a sense of calm, connection and remind us of such amazement and natural beauty. I just love it when Im able to collaborate with a client to create something unique, sentimental, and memorable to treasure. I have been blessed to show my work throughout New England through art shows, installations, auctions, charity events, and local establishments and publications, and was mentioned as one of Maines most collectible artists in the 2019 Annual Guide of Art Maine magazine. My work may be found in private collections in the United States as well as local establishments, offices, and restaurants. You may also find me on Instagram, Facebook or at Thank you!
