After a career as a photo-illustrator I moved to watercolors, to interpreting what I see, painting on location and from my photos. I live in Maine, painting daily, and posting to my blog. Im a signature member of the Vermont Watercolor Society, a member of the Icelandic Watercolor Society, a member in Art Guild of the Kennebunks, and Plein Air Painters of Maine. I was fortunate to experience a successful career in childrens books illustrated with my photography, more than 45 garnering prestigious honors and awards. I minored in art at the University of Maine, and took watercolor workshops with Susan Abbott, David Dewey, and Dewitt Hardy. I painted a commission for the USA Olympic Curling Team, 2018 Olympics. Honors and Awards: Honorable Mention, Castine (Maine) Plein Air Festival, 2019. Show Poster, Kennebunk River Club, 2019.
