Lea Peterson is an award-winning artist living in Georgetown, ME. Her diverse body of work shows the color and texture of life in Maine, whether of sandy beaches, fishermen and the stormy sea, docks, dinghies or seabirds. Her landscapes and seascapes convey the many moods of coastal and inland Maine. Painting since the age of 6 and professionally trained in Studio Art, Lea is represented by the Elizabeth Moss Gallery (Falmouth, ME) and the N. W. Barrett Gallery (Portsmouth, NH). Her work is also shown at the Thomas Moser Gallery (Freeport, ME) and the Centre St. Arts Gallery (Bath, ME). She has been juried into Oil Painters of America and her work is held in many private collections in this country and abroad.
