I was drawn to experimenting with art at a young age. I was influenced by my mother, a sculptor. I studied photography, sculpture and graphic design. I earned a BFA in Studio Art and then put these creative efforts on hold as I pursued a career in architectural design.
As a pastime, I loved to rummage through the aisles of local and international flea markets and antique stores looking for interesting and unusual, often everyday found objects. When I first saw my first exquisite Joseph Cornell assemblage I knew I had found a medium that I would adore. I have exhibited in various juried and non juried shows and my assemblages are in several private collections.
